Nick Maksimchuk
Head Coach

Head coach Nick Maksimchuk is in his fourth year leading the Eagles. He was an assistant with the Eagles before taking over the helm in 2008. As a player, Maksimchuk was a cornerback for Tri-State University (2002-2006). He saw action as a true freshman at cornerback and return specialist for the Thunder. Coach Maksimchuk was prepped at New Lothrop High School (1998-2002), where he was a four-year letterman and captain for the Hornets. He led New Lothrop to their first-ever State playoff run as quarterback. Coach Maksimchuk was a three-year Unanimous All-Conference (QB/DB) Selection at New Lothrop. He also was a four-year State Qualifier in Track (100, 200, Sprint Relays). Coach Maksimchuk has been married for over five years to his wife, Kristen, who is a math teacher at Garrett High School. They are expecting their first child very soon!


Chris Snyder
Defensive Coordinator

Defensive coordinator Chris Snyder Assistant is in his 17th year as the Defensive Coordinator for Fremont High School. As a player, Snyder was a four-year letterman for Fremont High School from 1975 to 1978. Coach Snyder has been married for 30 years to wife, Tina, and has a daughter, Carrie, age 27, and a son, Alex, age 25, a former Fremont High School football player who graduated in 2004. Coach Snyder is the Town Superintendent for the Town of Fremont.


Bryan Hall
Offensive Line Coach

Offensive line coach Bryan Hall is in his fifth year with Fremont High School. Coach Hall has been extremely active in the Fremont-area football programs for several years, including three years as youth football coach and working to develop the current youth football program in Fremont with former coach Mike Cochran. Hall played on the 1983 Cluster 52 Championship team with Fremont and graduated in 1985 as a three-time letterman. He also played semi-pro football with the former Fremont Invaders of the Michigan Football League. In addition to football, Hall has coached in youth baseball for the past 12 years. He is the small business unit manager for Wessels Company in Angola. Hall has two sons, Austin, 16, and Matt, 11.


Mike Herndon
Co-Offensive Coordinator

Co-offensive coordinator Mike Herndon graduated in 1985 from Fremont High School. He played on the 1983 Cluster 52 championship team that went 7-3 that year. Herndon is in his tenth year of coaching, mostly in youth football, spending three years in Angola, then three more in Fremont. This is his 4th year with Fremont High school and he is also the 7th grade coach as well. Herndon has been married to wife Lisa for 21 years and he has two sons, Nick (former Fremont quarterback) and Jeff. He is a lifetime resident of Fremont.
